About Coach
Founded and led by PGA Professional Gearoid O’Sullivan, Masterswing Golf Vietnam specialises in long-term junior golf development using structured, age-appropriate coaching programmes.
Gearoid’s coaching approach is guided by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) model of player development. This system recognises that technique should be built on good movement skills, posture, balance, and coordination, particularly during childhood and adolescence.
By assessing how a child moves and develops physically, coaching can be tailored to the individual rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method. This supports safer skill development, encourages better long-term performance, and helps children progress at a pace suited to their age and maturity.
The TPI-based approach also promotes confidence and enjoyment by ensuring children are challenged appropriately and experience success as they learn. The aim is to develop well-rounded junior golfers with strong physical foundations and a positive relationship with the game.
